Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and Swipe version from Settings. Describe what happened and what you expected. You don’t need to send personal photos or videos.

Does swiping left delete a photo or video?

No. Swiping left sets an item aside for review. Open Review, check the selection, choose Delete, and confirm Delete from Photos. iOS may also ask for confirmation. Cancelling leaves the selection available for another time.

How do I undo a decision?

Use Undo in the sorting screen to reverse a recent swipe. In Review, use the Return control on an item, or Return all, to put items back into the unsorted library. Undo cannot reverse a confirmed deletion from Photos.

Can I recover something I deleted?

Open Apple Photos and find Recently Deleted. Items can normally be recovered there for 30 days unless they have been permanently removed. With iCloud Photos, deletion and recovery also affect synced devices. Swipe cannot restore permanently deleted media.

Why are some photos missing?

If Swipe has limited Photos access, it only shows selected items. Open Swipe’s Settings to manage selected photos, or change Photos access in iOS Settings. Hidden or otherwise inaccessible items may not appear. Saved sorting decisions for inaccessible items are retained.

Why is a video or Live Photo loading?

The original may be stored in iCloud. A network connection is needed to retrieve it. For inline playback, use Cancel to stop a download. In the expanded viewer, use Done to close it. Use Retry after reconnecting if loading fails. Swipe does not autoplay the next item after you sort or use Undo.

What does Reset sorted do?

After confirmation, it clears Swipe’s saved sorting decisions, review queue, and Undo history. Your photos, videos, and Apple Photos favorites stay unchanged. Cancelling the confirmation keeps your sorting progress.

What happens when I favorite or share an item?

The heart updates the favorite in Apple Photos. Sharing creates a temporary copy for the app or destination you choose. Live Photos are shared as still images. Neither action changes your sorting decision.

What should I do if progress could not be saved?

Follow the notice in the app and retry. If the notice concerns an earlier deletion, check Photos before attempting another deletion. Please contact chotato if the notice persists, including the exact wording without attaching private media.
